Rolling along

Nau mai, hoki mai and welcome back!

Things are rolling along very nicely in our homeschool.  This semester is going to be full-on for a while so blogging has to go by the by.  I'm busy all day with everyone; and the homework is so exciting and interesting and time-consuming all rolled into one!  Smiles all around though!  No, honestly!  Very happy campers here.

We've been enjoying some great experiments with tama 1's Physics; an awesome ongoing project in geography as well as fantastic assignments in ASA.  We've recorded everything on YouTube so it's good to know I have it externally as well (for posterity).  Tama 2's geography needs some re-thinking.  The interest isn't quite the same on his behalf.  Hmmm ....

Tamāhine 1 has involved herself in her art, Mystery of History II and, my favourite - W2W.  Each week she has been challenged in her art, but she has given each assignment true dedication and effort.

W2W has afforded the opportunity to try making a video-timeline-thingy.  It worked out splendidly; albeit time-consuming this first-time around.  We now know what to do (more importantly, which computer to use! --- it would appear the usb ports on my laptop are starting to give out.) Pity my laptop doesn't have an inbuilt microphone.  Hei aha, the other has so I've already tested it all out.  Works perfectly.  Technical glitches really can drive a person insane huh?! LOL.

We took a few weeks break from math.  Just so much going on blah blah blah blah.  But, we're getting back into it starting this week.

Dear oh dear, I look around the classroom and aargh! what a mess!  Hei aha, I'm off to watch:

The kids watched it the other day but I missed lots of it...

Thanks for dropping by
